Other then show up not really. Unless you plan on sleeping at the hotel. Then you should book your sleeping room now as rooms will be in high demand. See everyone there.

One further question, is the 'end-of-show' time going to be a hard music-OFF deadline? I remember quite fondly playing music well after my usual bedtime on Saturday( let alone my usual supper time ).

Good question !

Companies and members will be free to do as they wish as in the past. However respectable listening levels will be strictly observed. This is especially true for after hours listening sessions.

100 plus DB at 12 midnight will lead to us losing this hotel. In which case I will then personally toss said offenders out of the hotel, permanently ban them from AK and any future fests not to mention insult their moms apple pie. This I do not jest about. There will be NO jeopardizing losing this hotel for future use. Thank you.

errr, Dave....you forgot Tarrin' and Featherin'...best done with real, organic pine resin, at temperature so as to guarantee a full-body first and second degree burn...:)

That and toss their gear out after them so as to be sure something breaks its fall.

Are you KIDDING me? Not only is this place about 5 minutes from my house, but it is also where the lovely Mrs Whell and I had our wedding reception - October 1, 1994 to be exact. How cool!!

For real. The hotel is an open atrium design on the inside. You can stand on the main floor, where the meeting rooms and restaurant are located, look up and see the doors to the guest rooms located on the floors above. The place echos a bit inside, so I'd guess that a stray room that cranks it up at an odd hour of the night will get noticed very quickly.

The way things are going for me on the home front these days, its an even shorter trip from the dog house to the hotel than it is from my house to the hotel! :D
