Hey there...found a Winegard HD6065, which I am going to have installed. I am ony 3 miles from the Philly antenna farm, so my question is this: I was not planning to put a rotor on the antenna...but if I point the back of my yagi at the antenna farm, the front of the yagi would be pointing towards Baltimore/DC...which - in looking around my area - looks like where the next richest gaggle of signals reside.

So, would I badly compromise the quality of the signal that I would get from the Philly antenna farm (remember...only 3 miles away) by having the back of the yagi facing towards those towers?

Thanks...

Probably not. I get some good signals from stations 90* off axis, off to the sides of my yagi in what should be a "null" area, and they are a lot farther than 3 miles... more like 50-60 miles.

Agree with Paul. I point my antenna toward Detroit pick up stations 70 miles away, but still able to pick up Saginaw on the back side about 30 miles away. The local antenna farm is about 5 miles away at a 90. No problem picking them up what ever direction I point.
