I have this RCA video disk player. Not the big Laser Disk, these use needles and the disks look like vynl. I dont know what is wrong with the player. I plug it in and it turns on. In the display it flashes an "L' witch I assumes means that it is having trouble loading the disk. Is the anyone who knows how to repair this? I have gone to two or three electronics shops and had to explain to them what it was. I Live in New Jersey near philadephia PA, i am willing to travel somewhat to get it repaired. If someone could tell me anything about it I would Aprecratie it. Thanks

A quickly-flashing "L" is considered normal when switching on the player. :) An "L" that flashes slowly shows a dud 15V regulator.
