Would someone with access to the book check yr and price for a Magnavox CDB 582 please .

May I ask, exactly what is the book?

The Book is "The Orion Audio Blue Book"
Mine is from 1997 and it doesn't list a CDB 582. It lists a CDB 570 - 87-89 List $479, CDB 583 - 89 List $393, CDB 586 -89 List $350

Hey Kim, does that book list speakers too? I'm trying to find list prices for Advent/1's and Advent 4002's. Also, a Crown DC300A power amp. Mine was built between '80 and '82, but they were in production from 1973 until '82.

Advent 1 Vinyl 73-80 $250 pr, wood $268 pr. 4002's not listed have a 402 81-82 $140 pr.

Crown DC 300 68-77 $685, DC 300A-2 72 $1295 , no plain DC 300A listed

Thanks for the info guys. The 4002's weren't made until about 1985 thru the early 90's, so the date is probably 1990, not 1980. :scratch2: The 1's were made from 1978-83 according to the Advent thread in this forum. Looks like "the book" has some typos. :yes:
The DC300A series II wasn't made until mid 1982, according to Crown. The original DC300 from '67-'72, and the DC300A from '73 to early '82. :D
