We are gettin our arse kicked here in Arizona's Show Low area. My in laws have a cabin up there. I just have a lil land at this point but don't expect it to be much more than a charred mess soon. 300k acres burned, 100 plus homes. My in laws are evacuated and heading here to Tucson. What a huge fire! I feel so bad for everyone up there. The whole dang town of Show Low is evacuated. Such a mess. The biggest Ponderosa pine area in the world...gone. :dammit:

fight, fight, fight... a million dollars a day. Zero control on this fire at this point.

Fires suck!

I hope your in laws come out of it unharmed.

What pisses me off the most is that fires are all man made

yeah, bummer.
we're in a drought, grass like tinder, and the city permits fireworks.
here i am, heading off to Minnesota for the week. Hope my place doesn't burn down!

hot and so humid. and not a lick of rain or even thunderstorm in sight. lived here on the great plains all my life and still haven't figured that one out. it can be a hoot to watch the heat shimmer off of blacktop.
