Just got my CT-F9191 form Ebay. Looks and seems to work great. One thing; when power is flipped on, it sounds like some small motor is running, doesn't matter if a tape is in it or not or if any of the buttons are pushed. Doesn't seem to hurt anything, just wondering if this is normal? If so, what is running?
Thanks!

The motor is running. That's what you're hearing.

Hey guys, can you help me please? I'm not exactly new to this biz but have a problem that is really getting to me. In my shop I have three CT-F9191 decks. All have been re-lamped, belted, tired.....blah blah blah....but get this, with base plate off if I give the LH/RH PCB #RNP-299 a sharp tap I get a complete channel and sound quality shift!!!!

It's like something totally mechanical is at work. I cannot find any dry solders loose/poor connections nothing.

That's it....HELP (please!!!)

Always prefered the CT-F1000 anyway

Thanks,

Ian
