WilCruiser 03-19-2008, 09:07 PM Holly CRAP! Watched this go from circa $500 to over $1100 in about 10 seconds! Hope someone here got it.

I was watching it too. at 3 minutes it was at $570 or something.
Then... BAM!!!!
Tempting, as the resale of much of that would make your money back- just need to put in the time and effort.
I'd have kept the DQ-10s and a/d/s/, though I already own a pair of DQ-10s and a few a/d/s/ pair.
If I had the space, who knows....:scratch2:

Holy crap!
Toasted Almond 03-20-2008, 06:43 AM Might be a couple keepers, but for the most part, an awful lot of firewood.
bigmacc 03-20-2008, 06:57 AM Toasted l was thinking along the same lines but more along the recouping the winner's investment.
My gut tells me it would require a lot of effort to sell off the majority of the stuff to keep the DQ's etc. I notice a couple of other pairs l liked needed repairs.
Strange as it may sound the Bose might actually get some return as sometimes they fletch some money on ebay.

Probably someones wife....
Arkay 03-20-2008, 07:15 AM Agreed with what some others have expressed here: if someone wanted to take the trouble to sell off the lesser ones, a few there (like the DQ-10s and the A/D/S 1290-2s) could make the whole lot worth the effort. Personally, I'm not sure I'd want to take on the task of transporting, storing, listing and selling the others, though, just for the few keepers. Been there, done that, and selling off stuff is rarely as quick and easy as one hopes it will be. Still, if you had the space and weren't in any hurry to deal with the others, it was a nice deal for someone.
I met this guy last year. He gave me a hell of a deal on about 5 pair of speakers. He showed me more speakers in one place than I've ever seen.
birddog 03-21-2008, 03:59 PM Same guy has put another pile up on the 'bay, with different speakers in the pile...
WilCruiser 03-21-2008, 04:22 PM I noticed that too - two batches. Not as appealing a lot IMO though.
