View Full Version : Zerostat - Worth the investment?

When I was a kid, we used to shock the hell out of each other with Zerostat guns, but they were relatively inexpensive back then. But didn't use them for much more. I really don't recall how well they worked on records, so here I am asking y'all...

Do you think they are effective? I ask because I tend to have some static on some records. Now they cost around a 100 bucks new. I see them used on eBay for much less, but they are always used, and I know that they are only good for so many "shocks" before they run out of juice.

I think they work "$90" worth. At the risk of getting shot for mentioning it a million times, I like the results from my Sharper Image Ionic hair dryer better.
