Hello All,
What to say - I am not that much into audio as I have always been more of a movie buff and been into HT. I would describe myself as having a tin ear so I have nothing super high end (no 100K speakers for me) but I do try to get good consumgrade stuff. However, now I am getting into audio (as my budget allows) and have been doing some purchasing, reading, and researching... I found AK while doing some reasearch on Sony TTs... What elese to say? Oh yeah I am a sony WHORE and proud of it. I think Sony of the old made soem of the finest home equipment ever and even now they have a hit in every category they are just not consistent anymore (i.e. they will produce a GREAT SCD player and then nothing but junk for a few years then another hit out of nowhere...) Well without further ado here is the equipment list:
TV: Aquos LCD 46" (hoping for a 65" XBR7 to replace it this year)
AVR: STR-K840P (Will probably upgrade to a 7100ES and 5400ES soon)
SAT: HR10-250
TAPE: TC-WA9ES
HTPC: Custom
VCR: SLV-R1000
Gaming: PS3 80GB
DVD: DVP-NS9100ES, DVP-CX777ES
BD: PS3 (Will upgrade when sony puts out a dscent Profile 2.0 BD player in the ES line)
AMPs: TA-N90ES :tresbon:, TA-N9000ES (for 7 channel of surround sound goodness :music:)
Speakers: B&W 700s + HTM3S thrown in for good measure!
