View Full Version : Storing VINYL in a very HUMID enviroment hifiwannab 03-24-2008, 10:05 PM I live in a very very humid enviroment should i look into a better way to store my records as i have heard humid is bad and cause mold etc. i was tthinking just a shelf that had a semi air tight seal and then like a dehumidizing substance lol Celt 03-24-2008, 10:13 PM Desiccant/Silica Gel packets with the records stored in sealable plastic containers would be my choice. Air conditioner's do dehumidify but there are times when you can have a lot of humidity in cold weather and an air conditioner is not what you want.
