Are there any wives around? Maybe they went out shopping. :D

I dunno about the Ladies, but I'm here...

My husband (Bauhausler) tells me I need an avatar, but apparently I need to post "more than 0" times to make one of my own.

So, Hi folks!

I had a hard time trying to find a good avatar, still haven't found the right one for me. I think I will be looking for a while, until then I have a few to change back and forth.

Actually it seems like i am always on the board here and I just keep looking for all the wives who have joined. Sometimes it just gets really lonely. :( Need more women talk.

But all the men on here are great. I love to chat with everyone.

There are quite a few interesting threads it seems like.

The Misses has been out of the house due to a death in the family. Once things get back to normal I am sure she will pop in from time to time.

Sorry I have not been around much but as Grumpy explained I had a Death in the family and I have had a very rough week. My ex-husband was working a car and was overcome by the fumes and died. This was the father of my oldest child and it has been hard for me seeing her in so much pain.

One thing that I have come to really understand this week is how important it is for children to have relationships with their absent parents. Unfortunately, my ex didn't have time for his daughter in the past 18 years and now she is grieving for someone who she wishes had been there.

So please if you know someone who is refusing to let an ex see his/her child for a stupid reason. Tell them how short life is and tell them about my child who lost her father at 41 years of age.

I was very fortunate this week because Grumpy has been there for me and left me alone when I needed to be left alone. He did not question anything that I did this week and he has allowed be the time I needed to grieve.

I just wanted to say Thank You Grumpy!!!
