Has anyone seen the 2007 Crossroads DVD? Jeff Beck had what looks like a 15year old girl playing bass for him. Was wondering if this is his daughter? He looked like a proud dad.

Have the DVD, but don't know the girl. Looks a 'bit' older than 15, though....
I'll check the credits later and see.

..or Wilkenfeld. Left her Aussie home at 16 or something and is quite the intuitive player. I'm a big Beck fan and saw the show on PBS but didn't pick up the DVD cause there are only like 3 Beck songs on it and he played many more on the show.

Anyway, she's really gifted. Reminds me of a young Jaco or Stanley Clarke. You can tell Jeff is very proud of her.

If you haven't heard this LP, it's one of his best. Unbelieveable driving tunes and great musicians. Grab it if you don't have it!

Jeff Beck Group, Orange On cover. Crank it up to a good volume, Going Down. This whole Lp is a good listen also. Of course, all Jeff Beck's music is a good listen. :thmbsp::D

Here name is Tal Wilkenfeld. (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=79932368) Check out the video on her myspace page, of her playing "cause we've ended as lovers" with Jeff Beck. I showed it to my 15-year-old daughter who just started playing bass herself. This is what we both looked like while watching it.:jawdrop:
