View Full Version : New house, new setup, new smile
Wardsweb 03-25-2008, 08:34 PM We just moved two weeks ago. I have now setup my 2 channel rig with the new VTI rack. I still need to wire in the blue lights for the turntable and amp stands.

Arkay 04-16-2008, 12:52 AM Absolutely beautiful system there, Luther. Candy for both the ear and the eye! Enjoy the new home, and no need to say "enjoy that stereo"! :music:  :thmbsp: :D
Just wondering... if you leave the window curtains open during the day and the sunlight streams in, does the gear look just as nice glinting in the sun's rays, or does the back-lighting turn it into dim outlines, from where you sit, listening?
Kyle85318531, please don't say you'll never get such a system. First, make the decision that you WILL improve your system. Don't worry about how or when, just decide that you will. Then you'll soon start with ONE cheap piece from a garage sale --or even a freebie from friends that hear of your interest, or maybe a curbside/trash find even-- that improves on what you have now. Then begin working your way up, one item at a time or perhaps a whole system at once if you are lucky. Keep your eyes open and let people know of your interest. Even if all you have is five bucks and a bicycle, you might get something from a local garage sale. If money is a problem, perhaps you can "flip" a few pieces to "trade up" along the way. The most important thing is the first step: decide that you WILL get a better system... the rest will come, in time. Maybe it won't resemble Luther's system, but you'll be surprised at what you may end up with. It will be something far better than you ever expected to have, no doubt.
clydeselsor 04-16-2008, 01:14 AM Very nice!
RaymondLeggs 04-16-2008, 07:22 PM Thats IT I am going to dump all My Gear. :tears:
