Bought a receiver for cheap, got it set up, and no sound out of the center channel. Buy a hafler amp to run from the center pre out and it works great. Started dinking around with my old receiver for fun, and when I pull a jumper, the sound goes out to that channel. I never knew what those things were for.
Then it hit me. The front right and front left both had jumpers on the new receiver, but the center channel amp in and pre out was missing a jumper. Could this be the cause of the center channel getting no sound? Boy do I feel dumb. Guess I need to find a spare jumper and test it out.
