Sawafuji Digital reference Ribbon Speakers

wonderfully clean sounds. The developer of these has many patents on the technology. they sounds amazing!

Grill + stands are in beautiful condition.

I am selling these speakers due to space limitations. I love these they are crystal clean. This is a great opportunity to own a rare pair of very high quality speakers at a very reasonable price. A pair of these recently sold for $1400.

I was just going to post about these. I could be way off but I smell WHITE VAN!!!!!

Sawafuji!?!? I saw a fuji once and.... oh never mind!

Anyway, what tips me off is the proverbial "digital" reference.

"Sawafuji Digital reference Ribbon Speakers"
"Model SFT Digital Reference"

"The developer of these has many patents on the technology."

And who might that be?

I dunno, I smell a rat!

EDIT: Ok, so upon a Google search there is a Sawafuji Electrical Company so maybe they're legit.

Nope, them are for -real honest to goodness speakers! Expensive, kinda hard to find, so you just don't hear much about them.

Of course, expensive doesn't always mean good... :D

Try searching Google for "Sawafuji dynapleat" or Sawafuji Dynaribbon" and you will get some hits about them. No longer manufactured, but the company still exists as Sawafuji Electric and now makes refridgerators and alternators, and other stuff along those lines.

I have a pair of the drivers, courtesy of AKer Nat. They're... interesting.

I remember these Sawafugi's a while back. They made a small ripple in the pond when released, and then died quietly. IMHO, at $900/pair they're better off dead. :D

Best,

That "A pair recently sold for $1400" comment is a real turn off and has no place in an ad.

They do look kind of cool though.

Maybe there's a refrigerator inside to store your beer while you listen to tunes!
