You would be amazed at all the cool stuff for sale out here Will.. not sure if they are still up on the DC CL, but a couple days ago there was a bunch of McIntosh gear up for sale...

I've grabbed a few really cool things from CL as far as stereo... and other stuff.. Tonight I'm going to pick up a really cool antique bar.. seem to be so few and far inbetween I have only found two others on the net... One great thing about the DC area, people are moving in and out all the time, and LOTS of great deals to be had..

$250 for an SX-1250 in even decent shape might not quite be considered a steal, but it's damn close and could be an excellent deal. Throw in the other stuff and that's one hell of a price. Good luck HomerJ!

I didn't have the truck last night was the only reason I didn't take it home then.

It isn't in quite as great of shape as I was hoping for. It does have a couple of small places where the veneer is chipped on the edges. It needs a SERIOUS cleaning too... Everything is good and tight though, no broke pieces.. no serious scratches or anything.. just a little TLC is all it needs..

I figured get it home, and give it the same treatment I gave the Zeniths... lots of Murphy's oil soap, then a few of Howards special formulas.. and it should be looking REALLY great... just gonna take some elbow grease... I'm sure it would bring twice what I'm paying easily.. It is a very cool and original looking peice for sure..

Around here, if you want something you better be REAL FAST... amazing how much stuff I have missed, even within an hour after listing... stuff already picked up within that time.. NO IDEA how they manage to get somewhere so fast..
