I came across a nearly complete (no tape player) VoM system today.
1497 Tuner (tube)
1495 Amp (solid state)
1576 Turntable
43 (I think) speakers.
The equipment was in pretty nice shape -a little dusty inside, but it looks like it didn't have much in the way of scratches (though I didn't get a look at the speakers/drivers at all). I also did not power anything up. I simply took a look at the static display.
I'm not interested in the equipment myself. While I know the seller, I have no vested interest in the sale. I told him I'd try to find some info -including an idea on price.
Anybody have any ideas?
And, if anybody is interested, I can put you in contact with the party.
I can get pics if need be, but that might take me a day or so.
