I just picked up one of these pretty cheap considering how much the last one went on that auction site. I got it at my local audio shop (they got these bits in a large load they took in) so if they dont work I was told I am more than welcome to take them back.

One reason was the fact that it did not come with a wall wart.
I also picked up a Power Supply Three but no umbilical for it.

Anybody know what the voltage of the wall wart is supposed to be? And does anybody know what the pin out is on the 6 pin din connector on the back of the power supply?

Luckily I hang out in the chat room where all the cool kids are.:thmbsp:

RichPA had the same exact setup as I do Power Supply Three and Vac in the box.

He sent me a power umbilical unfortunetly it was the wrong voltages +26 and -26. But knowing that the other three pins in the 6 pin Din connector should give me a different voltages (needed +14 and -14), and the other three pins did.

So with that knowledge in hand (actually head) I decided to order parts and build my own. While I was waiting I rigged one a temp cable with half of a headphone cable and a Commodore 64 disc drive cable. Not pretty but it worked. Here are some pics for posterity.

Pin 6 = +14
Pin 5 = Ground
Pin 4 = -14
