Picked up a Sherwood RX-4010 receiver, Pioneer PD-F407 25-disc CD changer & a pair of Fisher DS-811 3-ways, all for $12. Everything works perfectly.

Added an old Kenwood GE-35 graphic equalizer & a pair of no-name 2-ways I've had around forever. This system kicks pretty good. My Daughter will get it eventually, but I got it in the "Mancave" until I get some work done on my Pioneer SX-1050 and install some new crossovers in my homebuilt EV 15" 3-ways.

Don't know the exact output on the Sherwood. Have read it's between 60 & 80 wpc.

Pretty amazing when you think about it. I'm sure the system knocks any $250 iPod dock out of the park!

I loaded up the changer with 25 CD's and let 'er rip. Works as fast or faster than my brother-in-law's Pioneer carousel. The receiver was a little lacking on the bottom end, but with the Kenwood equalizer, it sounds damn good. It's all I can handle at 10pm on the volume. My listening room is 15' across the front & 24' deep.
