Paul Simon wrote many brilliant songs in the 60's when Paul and Art were together.

But, since they broke-up, I like Art Garfunkel's albums better then the solo Paul Simon albums.

I really like these Art Garfunkel albums:

- Angel Clare

- Breakaway

- Watermark

I have all of them on vinyl - excellent songs and recordings.

I have some Paul Simon albums but seldom listen to them.

Cheers, Snade

Ditto here...most of the songs i liked when they were together are the ones that Art sang lead on. Angel Clare is my favorite Art album.

I prefer Paul's solo work. My favorites:

Still Crazy After All These Years
There Goes Rhymin' Simon
Paul Simon
Graceland

Well, I'm a Paul guy. I really like his guitar work and he's an inspired songwriter. He can get a little cute with his vocals but that's just his style.

Simon is a better songwriter, but Garfunkel has "the voice". This is why they were so great as a team.

I'm pretty fond of both as solo artists, and I own most of their albums (on vinyl, by and large).

Graceland is/was a stunning album, especially for its time.

I love them both, but I agree Angel Clare is Art's best album.

Just got a new copy of their 1969 live concert. I've always been a huge fan of both of them, but I'd forgotten how beautiful Garfunkel's voice was.
