I bought my first new 180 gram lp today, Coltrane's Colltrane Jazz on Atlantic. It sounds wonderful! I could get spoiled. I also bought Keith Jarrett's Staircase lp which is an old favorite. The 180 surprised me, I didn't think it would sound so good.

Careful, it's a slippery slope with those high quality new vinyl pressings!:D Try one of the 45rpm releases, your mind will be blown.
I've been looking at the 45 rpm 2 record set Way Out West by Sonny Rollins.
I think I'll spend a portion of my tax rebate check on one next month.
