Just found stacking spindle for my BIC 980. Wanted to test it out and - blasphemous as it may be - stacked my 3LP Box Set of Pet Shop Boys Pop Art. So about an hour and a half of techno dance music through my vintage system.

Man - this presssing is great way to show off vinyl :banana: And my BIC is operating flawlessly - after Fred Longworth did his magic :yes:

How much scratching/damage can stacking do to LP's anyway? I grew up stacking vinyl. Just seems natural to me. I can see if a record starts slipping it wouldn't be good. But if not - what's to worry?

You said it Spanky..er shacky, it's your stuff have fun or,as the Boy's would say, No worries mate!

A worn needle and improper cleaning will do more damage than you are playing them in that fashion!

Hmmmm? I'll have to look for that 2 LP set on the PSB. I just purchased the DVD of the PSB Pop Art videos. Fun to watch the old stuff.

Where can I find the 3 album set? Is it 180 gram?

I picked this up used in local Analog Shop. It was the owners so it is in pristine shap. And it's a 3 LP set! Bass is amazing and demonstrates LP's rule with bass! Leaves noting to be desired - as in CD :rolleyes:
