That is Marantz. A fellow AKer terra1 gave me a free 4025 after a bum deal on craigslist. For being the runt of the Marantz pack it sounds nice. Why would anyone ever need more than 25 watts!? The cassette part is broken currently but it needs some lubrication and a new belt (or rubber band :D) and the trademark blue lights are out.

A good day to be an AKer.

Where could I get replacement fuse lights for Marantz?

Ak member dgwojo is the man for lights/bulbs. Send him a PM, and he'll fix you up.

Unfortunately, the 4025 is the Rodney Dangerfield of the Marantz flock. It gets little to no respect around here. Personally, despite its limitations I kind of like it, and think it gets a worse rap than it deserves, simply because Marantz made so many other, even better units back then. It is what it is, and it isn't so bad for that. Better than the other "casseivers" I've seen. Clean it and fix it up, and enjoy it! :music: Consider it the first step on the slippery thrill-ride slope of Marantz addiction. Welcome to the club! :D

Contacted him about the lights. Well light really, I'm really lucky that its an easy fix, no soldering or glueing. And it should cost around 6 bucks to fix it entirely!

Awesome.

Yeah, I need to find my camera though. Left it at a friends house methinks.
No online pictures, but I can tell you this thing is a hulking beast, 22 1/2" wide!

Welcome! I'm still working on showing the loyalty thing. Lets see started with a 27, then a 1200, then a 1060...

I know I'll be using this extensively after my friend picks up his Kenwood KR-2400
