hi, i have a 2265B and have posted pics already on an earlier post, i am now ready to try to rebuild the amp board P700...my question is when replacing burned resistors do i use carbon or metal resistors, it really doesn't get into too much detail in the service manual...it just says (Res. Fixed) and then the values for each ...thanks

Metal film resistors are generally quieter than carbon. I doubt it really matters, since there are so many other carbon resistors in it already. Proper value, power dissipation and tolerance are the important factors.

Go with metal film--smaller packages, quieter and usually 1% tolerances.
