I have a new projector with a 106" diagonal screen and I want to find a Receiver, Preamp or anything that can switch the sources to the projector easily.
I have a Pioneer Receiver that can feed sep channels as pre-outs which works well. I have a Crown D-75 bridged running the center channel, a Nikko Alpha for the front and another Nikko Alpha for the rears. I have a Hitachi amp driving the subwoofer. It sounds decent enough, but I wish I could at least switch component video via the receiver.

I don't want to blow $500 on an H/K or something that would give me Pre-Outs, component and HDMI switching and decent processing. I also have a Lexicon CP-2, but I guess I am just being cheap and these processors are getting long in the tooth.

Why is it that as soon as the manufacturer takes the amp out of a processor/receiver the price shoots up? I don't need amplifiers. Just give me the switching and processing.
