What's good pricing for pre-recorded R2R tapes?
Late 60-70's vintage groups-Like Peter, Paul Mary or Rod
Picked up a R2R a few weeks back(Akai 4000D) wanted to have a couple\few to try out on it
Saw some priced at around 10( with taxes and all)- That a decent price?
Thanks

Prerecorded R2R tapes on eBay run from a very low of $5.00 to WAY to much money I have seen some sell for over $100.00
If you have a local source for $10.00 each and they are titles you would enjoy I would think that would be a fair price.
I have seen them at local record shows sealed for that and opened for $5.00 I have also bought a hand full from a thrift shop for $.59 cents each.
they are like records in that those in demand go very high those nobody is looking for go cheap.
On eBay go into the Music Category and then to Other Formats to find R2R tapes.

I bought about 20 home-recorded 7 1/2" tapes for $20. At 4 albums per tape, I got a steal, and all the tapes sound like they were done on decent systems. They sound very close to vinyl.
