dlk 3's

There have been a few mentions of the under-appreciated quality of the dlk line, and I have an opportunity to pick up a pair of 3's. The current owner is an acquaintance, and I want to be fair, but I'm at a bit of a loss. There is practically no history on current prices on eBay. I've also read of the alleged tendency for tweeters to fail, and I probably won't have the opportunity to listen to these, so operating condition is unknown.

Any guesses on a fair offer? Any Orion info on these?

I would pay $150-200, in good operating and cosmetic condition. Think of it as the DLK answer to the JBL L100 and Pioneer HPM-100. I have several tweeters should you need them.

Dew042 is probably on target. I had a pair of 1.5's a couple years ago that I sold for $100 - they were in very good condition (cabs/drivers). The 3's should sound very good - let us know if you get them. My 1.5's were a nice speaker, I listened to them quite a bit before selling.
