Pete cfranz 04-09-2008, 08:43 AM BoonsBane, If you find one and want to sell your old one... cheap... let me know. Depending, of course, on just how, um, er, abused it is. There is no way in hell I can afford a new/mint one. SPL db 04-09-2008, 08:48 AM Don't have one to sell, but I'll keep an eye out at the thrifts and Goodwills for you! :thmbsp: Scott AnalogDigit 04-09-2008, 08:56 AM I'll keep an eye out as well. I might this weekend visit a used record store that sells vintage equipment in Antioch near the Wisconsin border. Thank you :thmbsp: Rex Everything 04-10-2008, 04:19 PM A buddy just came back from one of our record shops here in town and said they had two copies of the Final Cut. One for $10 and one for $15. I think another store had a clean copy for around $6. I'll check for you possibly tonight. Rex Everything 04-10-2008, 09:47 PM I stopped by the record store on the way home and grabbed a very clean copy of The Final Cut and what looks to be a very clean copy of Roger Waters Pros And Cons Of Hitchhiking. I am listening to The Final Cut right now. I did not clean the LP at all and it is very quiet. I'm sure with a good cleaning it will be next to mint. I'm almost thinking I should keep this but I did get it for you and it's my least favorite Floyd album. Do you need Pros And Cons Of Hitchhiking? PM or email me and we can work it out. The more vinyl sources I can find the better :thmbsp: onepixel 04-20-2008, 06:41 PM I saw a handful at Amoeba in SF yesterday. But they were all around $18-20. They grade and price according to condition and rarity. I grabbed Meddle, the UK Harvest pressing for $10. It's in near mint condition and sounds super clean. I grabbed Meddle, the UK Harvest pressing for $10. It's in near mint condition and sounds super clean. That's a nice score on Meddle. I'm still looking for a really clean copy of that one. Rex Everything helped me out on The Final Cut, should have it this week. Vintageman1 04-20-2008, 07:58 PM Hey! good for you Mike, good thing this site has some great people that are willing to help each other out.........hope the copy you get is better than the one you have now. I know there are a few L.P.'s that I have that need to be replaced as I have worn them out over the years but can't stand to be without them. I am looking for Grand Funk's "We're an American Band" but if I have to, I will settle for the C.D. Cerainly not what you would consider the greatest Rock album of all time, but just has that certain something that grabs me!........Dave BroonsBane 04-21-2008, 11:43 AM Dave, let everyone know what you are looking for, I'm sure someone can pony up an album or two for you :thmbsp: |
