I want to sell these speakers about as much as I want to shoot myself in the foot, but my wife says they have to go! These Allison CD 9 speakers were at the time they're top of the line speakers. I bought them Dec. 1985 for over $1,000.00.
The picture attached is of the actual speakers themselves, not something I scanned out of a catalog, so you can see they are in excellent condition. One speaker has some minor discoloration spots on the top and one grill has some minor tears in it. You'd be hard pressed to find them. I still have all the manufacturer literature that came with the speakers. It includes a promo pamphlet and installation and use guide.
Some of the specs are, 10" woofer, mid-range unit: 3 1/2" Allison convex diaphragm with ferrofluid damping/cooling material. Tweeter: 1" Allison convex diaphragm with silicone damping/cooling material. Crossover 350 Hz and 3750 Hz passive, parallel half-section filters using three inductors, four capacitors, six resistors, and two switches. Individual level controls for mid-range and tweeter. 4-ohms impedance, 45 Hz resonance frequency. Low frequency performance 35.5 HZ (-3dB) and 29.5 Hz (-6dB). Amplifier power 30-200 watts per channel. Dimensions 37 1/4" x 12 1/2" x 10 3/4". Oak finish.
If you'd like a higher res file of the speakers or any other info, please give me a call during the day at 617-482-3707. Speakers can be seen and heard in Revere, MA.

That's a great looking speaker. I'll bet they sound fantastic. Roy Allison didn't screw around.
