Anybody watched this yet? This is a great parody of music biopics. It takes a little from a lot of the movies out there. There is a lot of Walk The Line and Great Balls Of Fire in it. He must rip 5-6 sinks off of the wall during the movie. Frankie Muniz as Buddy Holly. Jack White as Elvis. Jack Black as Paul McCartney. Jason Schwartzman as Ringo. I really liked when he was trying to make his masterpiece (think Brian Wilson) and had what looked like hundreds of musicians in the studio and then he asked for 50,000 didgeridoos.

I watched it last night and loved it.
It was a dead on parody of all the music bio conventions.
I especially liked Elvis and the Beatles. :D

The music wasn't bad either even though it would probably be considered "Novelty" John C. Reilly can really belt out a tune too, he sounds a little like Orbison!

I espescially liked how they portrayed the June Carter character.Very funny stuff.BTW,the title song was co-written by Marshall Crenshaw.Deli, wait till you see the "kids just playing around" scene.I laughed my ass off at that.

Did anyone see it on BR yet? Supposed to be the first disc with the new live feature.

Are any of the players 2.0 compliant yet?
Did the Piss3 get that FW update yet? If not, then none of the players can make use of those features at this time.

yes the ps3 is the only player with the update and while you may not like the "piss3" - it is stellar at folding which is the main reason I purchased it.

I picked it up used on BR over the weekend. The movie is semi entertaining but it gets kinda boring by the end.

BD live is not exciting at all. There are extra deleted scenes available for free d/l. I never watch the deleted scenes that are already present on most discs. There is also trailers for new movies. The only good thing is that when watching an movie the trailers are always for movies of the same period. Now if you watch an older BD Live movie in a few years it will have current trailers. Big whoop.

I liked it, but expected lots more.

Felt like a film made by a bunch of stoned comedic writers, with some low-budget play money.

However, it had some real fun scenes, and was enjoyable.

Though I think an altered mindset would have improved it greatly.
