When I got my HD TV it was bundled with a Toshiba HD-A30, and then they lost the war. I was watching the prices on the A35 and was going to get one once they went under $150.00. I missed some sales at BB and other places :( and then the price direction went the other way:( So I ended up getting another A30 for $119.00 shipped, as a back-up... I love the color and detail in the HD-DVDs. Been buying up quite a few and have quite a few on order. If the wife ever puts 2 and 2 together I am in for some hell:) I have quite a few of the concert HD DVDs on order from Amazon as I do not want to end up like the A35... Out of stock and price going up. Some of the tiles are coming down, but it looks like once Amazon and the other large retailers are out of stock the sharks move in, and the places that have them left raise prices. Case in point " Chicago & Earth, Wind & Fire - Live at the Greek Theatre [HD DVD]" is out of stock at Amazon, but you can get it from their partners for $45.00 :( I found it at another site for a LOT less and got it.... Now all I have to do is sneak the A30 in the house and hide it some place and then explain to her why the pile of HD DVDs is growing... You can only use the "My Bud at work did not want these any more so he gave'em to me" for so long:)

Hmmmm Have a copy of Tomb Raider 1 and was looking for the second one, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider 2-Cradle of Life, and it was no where to be found in the States:( Had to look accross the pond and found a copy in England for 17 LBS :( Looks like it is out of print so I bit the bullet:( They should take off the VAT so it will be a bit cheaper... I AM HOOKED ON HD DVDs.....

If you are interested in imported HD DVDs, try Xploited cinema
http://xploitedcinema.com/catalog/hd-dvds-c-35.html?page=1&sort=2a

There's no region coding on any of them.

Some of those sales were pretty darn good. With the sales my HD DVD collection crushes my Blu-Ray collection at present. I think I have 235 HD DVDs.

I've got about 85-90 HD DVDs, and about 25ish BDs. My buying of either has slowed down quite a bit. OTOH, I've got over 1200 DVDs, and I still manage to buy them frequently.
