Hi, I'm Joel. I inherited a stereo system from my recently departed father.

Hmmm. It works for me. What causes that? Cache? Maybe because I linked to 'search results"?
Anyway AstroKitty, there ya go.

Hmmm. It works for me. What causes that? Cache? Maybe because I linked to 'search results"? I believe (emphasis on believe!) that "searchid" based links have a temporary lifespan, perhaps because they are cache based, or perhaps because the forum software invalidates them after some predefined amount of time: I know something like this is happening because I posted a "searchid" link myself on AK at some point, only to find the link invalid after not a whole lot of time.
You will notice that the "New Posts" feature is actually a "searchid" type search, and it, as well, only has a finite lifespan. Because it gives information pertinent only to you - i.e, which posts you already read and which posts you have posted to - it seems that it could be that a "searchid" link that works for you may not work for others.
Again, I know very little about this software beyond having gleaned some superficial knowledge about how it works from having used it for a while.

Welcome to AK! :music:
Go to the "Quick Links" (top of the page nav bar, on the right), pick "My Profile", and click on "Find all posts by <your username>". Every post you've ever made appears in chronological order, newest to oldest.
You can also choose to view only threads you've started, instead of every post.
