Hey all, my old Bronco II needs a new clutch. Is it worth it to spring for the heavy duty clutch?


It's about an extra 100 bucks.

Do you tow with it or do a lot of four wheeling (snow, mud, etc)?

I'm with Scott. If you don't tow with it or anything, perhaps not. Although, you might get a few more miles out of the h-d one under normal use. I don' know.

With my Bronco II, I only tow in high crosswinds!

My experience with Ford clutch discs has been that standard OEM is pretty damn good.
