I've got a Panasonic DVD recorder with an "IR blaster"-a device that plugs into the back of the Panasonic, with an IR emitter on the other end.
You position this in front of your cable or sat TV receiver, and it changes the channel according to what you've programmed into the recorder.
I needed to move some things, and now I need an extension cable.
It's a male 3.5mm Plug (4 Pole) plug.
Where can I find one that's male on one end, and female on the other?
Radio Shack & Panasonic were no help.

Some camcorder stuff uses those 4-pole connectors, and I know you can buy them if you search for a camcorder, or AV something or another connector.

My approach was to cut off the ends and splice in the required length using the flat, 4-conductor telephone cable. Crude, but effective.
