Does anyone know where I can find one? I know that AMT used to make one, not sure who else.

My wife has some very fond memories of her dad's red '69 Impala and I thought I'd make one for her, just can't find one. Except of E-Bay for upwards of $60.

I don't think that they made a '69, but I know that they made a '70... :scratch2:

EDIT: Just looked, yup they made a '69... good luck finding one cheaper! :)

There's a small 1:64 1969 Impala diecast you could paint up easy enough to resemble her dad's. Seems like the '70 amt models are available...much difference between those two model years?

I have an idea, look for a Life or Look magazine from '68 and try to find an ad for the '69 and frame it till you find a model ($$$$$) for the 1/24 scale plastic ones, very rare!! Might be some metal small ones with a search on e-bay but warning there as well, a '70 OLd's 442 Hot Wheels just sold for $710 in used condition, granted it was uber rare, I would think and 69 full-sized chevy model is gonna be rare as well. I don't know why? I collect all kinds of car stuff, I'll hunt around and see!
