I'm going to arrive at the Detroit Airport at approx. 7:00 am Saturday morning And I was wondering if anyone would like to share a cab to the FEST hotel.

Or if anyone knows of any other way to the FEST.

I would come get ya but thats about as bad of timing as it gets for me. Sorry.

You might want to post this in the AK Fest forum section. Maybe some folks traveling in would split a Metro Car with you.

That's gona be quite an expensive cab ride as the airport is not exactly that close to the the Fest. Could possibly rent a car for the weekend for almost the same price as what cab fare would be. :scratch2:

it certainly wouldn't hurt to look into how much it would be to reserve a small or mid-sized car. Just tryin to help. :thmbsp:

Thanks Subwolfer I looked into that The Hotel says a Taxi ride runs about $45.00 each way. And renting a compact car with taxes and fuel runs to about $70.00 And with the additional time required to deal with pickup and drop off of a rental car plus the PIA of driving from point A to B I think I'll go with the offered ride and if need be a Taxi to get back to the Airport Sunday evening.
