Going to look at these Wed. The BK 1560 has three sets of probes but no manual and he has no list of the tubes. The Eico 460 has no manual or probes. What tubes should I look for other than the newbie obvious? I've never used a scope.

Look for Mullard 12AU7's inside the Eico. Nice tube caddy in there, it would be fun to have a nice one.

It's solid-state. The Eico is tubed. I included it in the pics because it's a group lot.

Good find! A few years ago I bought 3 B&K model 1461 'scopes at the Vo-Tech "garage sale" for $25 apiece.Shoulda kept 2,but I only kept one.I've had the chance to buy units like the Eico(and military surplus units),but I was leary of'em.:scratch2:Luv tube amps, but I leave the tube-powered test gear to y'all that know more than I do.......

EICO 460 manual is online here: http://bama.edebris.com/manuals/eico/460/
B & K is here: http://bama.edebris.com/manuals/b&k/1540-1560/
I figure mixed NOS tubes are worth about 10 cents a tube... less if they've been cherry picked, as most lots have... of course audio tubes are worth more , but there won't be many in most cases.

Tom, you're encyclopedic, sir.:thmbsp:
I didn't recognize a single tube in the three cases. I left 'em. He's gonna take some higher rez pics of the labels and mail them to me. I'll shoot those by our TV folk. I did grab the two scopes, though. Now, to learn how to use them.
