I was at AK's Markus' house yesterday and we went to a local pizza/grinder place for lunch. On tap they had Opa Opa Brewing Company and had one. A nice smooth beer - pretty amazed really. Anyone else try theim - http://www.opaopabrewing.com/index.html

Always nice to support local breweries - so few left.

Had a couple Opa's in Hartford last week- I think it was the American Wheat. Quite tasty. I always try to find local/regional brews when I'm traveling, particularly when they don't suck.

I am relaxed... only 20 oz of Starbucks so far this AM. :-)

We'll take you to Kimball's Farm in Westford this summer and get you one of their outstanding frappes (but I am gonna make you order it yourself... "may I have a FRAP, please?", you will have to say...)!

Mmmmmm...... frappe..............

But what's this "grinder" you speak of? Isn't it purely "subs" here in our neck of the woods?

Speaking of, do you call sugary beverages "soda", "pop", or "tonic"....????

No tellin' without knowin', but back home in Maine, the best lunch I had was a grindah from the cash & carry in Bahabah, chased down with a nice, cold 'gansett, ayuh. Close second was a lobstah roll and fourberry pie at Moody's with a strawberry frappe.

:beerchug: Here Here!

Now, beyond that, I'm going to need an interpreter to participate in this thread.

And Paul - it's a "sodey dope" or an "R.O.C. ko-kola", you'll have to get Fotno to call you up and pronounce it for you.

No food fight - I have lived in all but the west of the US, so I call them the same names all the locals do.
