No, this is mainly for home theater. Although we use it sometimes for background music. All critical listening is via the 2 channel rig in the living room.

I don't know. Watching daily telly doesn't require a bigger screen. I use a DLP projector and portable screen when we are doing some family viewing. For instance, I am now watching a PBS bit on "climate change," i.e., "global warming." I cannot see wasting a big screen on this garb. Oh no! There's Algore! His head is so big, maybe I DO need a bigger telly!
