A funny thing happened… I was thinking about selling a Technics SA-190 Receiver that I had laying around the house, and I ended up buying a Pioneer CT-F9191 tape deck instead.
I know this is like closing the barn door after the horses escaped, but I would like some opinions on the deck. I paid $60, out the door. It was recently serviced and has new belts. Was this a poor judgment impulse buy, or a decent deal? All I really found on the net are that EBAY is loaded with them, and “It was top of the line in its day...” Nothing against Pioneer, but there was a top of the line Yugo in its day, but I wouldn’t buy it. So I am just curious, how does it compare to the BIC T-4M (my other deck) and the Pioneer CT-F950 (another deck I was looking at)? Either way, I’ll keep it for a second set up.
Thanks
