Albert Hoffman dead at 102

A sad farewell... Say what you will about his "Discovery" but it has changed music and life for many. I also say, it's a testament to his age, that maybe things aren't always as bad as they make them out. WHo knows, maybe it added some longevity to his life?

Usually always more good than bad for me.. but yes.. the bad sure isn't pretty.. especially when you are dealing with someone else on the bad side of it.. spent a few too many nights trying to talk people into a better place.. That sure will kill a buzz and give you a completely different reality..

I know people that haven't done some drops or dots have no clue, but no harm no foul on David's part I believe.. I will say though, what is out there today, IS NOT.. what it used to be... so with the way things are today, better to stay away, then risk some real damage... unfortinitally, I know first hand what the trash is like today... NOT PRETTY.. you never know what you're about to get yourself into, and for many, it's been the hospital.

I agree with simi, the good is amazing, but the bad is horrendous. The other thing is with that particular (and others like it) substance, it takes your mind to a different place, and it dosent come back to exactly where you started, youre a little bit further down the road. Do it too often and you end up too far away from where you started. Also, and unfortunatley, some people dont com back at all, or can get stuck there for a very long time (I have seen this happen, it's bad news). Thats why I'm glad I had a go (and learnt what I needed to then stopped), but would never recommend it to anyone, the stakes are too high
