Oh, come on admit it. Got sent home yesterday (been there 20 years, first time!), over some real horsesh*t. The owner actually, who's been there four years has alienated just about everyone with his paranoid head games. So, applied for two jobs yesterday, we'll see............:nono::nono::nono:

It's been my observation that supervisory positions tend to attract a lot of nutty types.

I was a lot smarter than all the people running this place... until I had to start running this place. Easy to poke at them. A lot harder to actually have to shoulder the responsibility. You ever tell anyone they don't have a job anymore? I have. Not fun.

It does take a certain talent and skill set to do it well, it's not an easy job. By the same token a lot of people find themselves in it (or seek it out) who aren't good at it.

Hope it works out for you freddy. When it's time to go, dust off your feet and don't look back.

Well, this guy married into the owner's family and then had the place fall into his lap. No experience in business, he should thank the Lord every morning because even if he runs it into the ground he's set for life............

My last job I had an egotistic manager over me.. we couldn't stand each other. No one in the place could, but once he was in the door, around there it was hard to get rid of management...

Even heard Partners around the firm call him self serving...

He tried to get me fired, wrote up, suspended and anything else you could think of. HR knew the story, and told him to back off. Three days after the HR manager left, he called me...

Best thing he ever did for me was tell me it was in my best interest if we parted ways.. he sure wasn't wrong there...

Better job, better pay, better 401, better hours, better bennies...

Yeah.. amazing how Karma feeds the deserving :D

I know 20 years would be hard to walk away from, but some times, it takes a swift foot (or an ass) to make you better yourself...

I've worked for many a nut case in my lifetime.
When you have children to support.....and no other income.....you just have to swallow your pride sometimes.....hard to do, I know.

I fear I realized this about the time I realized that I was in a supervisory position ...
