Found the time to do the can cap change by strapping single caps in the power supply sections-This amp runs now and sound is very good-only problem is on left channed I have some hum-runinng jj 12ax7as -and the old ecl82s-will have to trace down hum(grounds ect) other thing is it calls for 100uf@50volts fo the Ac applied to the bias(I only had a 47uf@50 volts--so off to local Radio shack to see if they have it:banana:

hey-Hey!!!,
With two 47/50V caps, build a C-R-C Pi filter. Two stages are better than one. 510-1k Ohm resistor should do quite well and be far quieter than a single C filter.
