Akai blank cassettes

Has anyone ever used Akai blank cassettes? I found a website where I can get boxes of 90 minute type II tapes for only $8.00, 10 tapes/box. That's a pretty good price & I may stock up big time.

I foolishly & naively tried asking this question on an audio tech forum. They ripped me to shreads & insulted me for having the nerve to use an analog format. I wasn't expecting their snooty & sarcastic replies. Oh, and they never did answer my question.

I have never tried them but I have thought about buying a few. You could probably just purchase 10 and try them out and if you like them, then go ahead and purchase more. They had had them for .80 on their website for quite awhile.
