The Mrs. wanted to go by the local thrift store last night. Who am I to pass up a chance to record shop while she looks at antiques?
So I stumbled across a very good musical haul. I'm pretty sure I own a couple of these already. I'm a big fan of Django Rhienhardt/Grappelli/Hot Club music, and these are all in very good condition. Here's what $8.69 brought home:
Oscar Peterson and Stephane Grappelli ~ Peterson/Grappelli, double LP 1973 (very excited about this one)
Gary Burton & Stephane Grappelli ~ Paris Encounter 1972
Jean Luc Ponty & Stephane Grappelli ~ Inner City 1976
Jean Luc Ponty ~ Imaginary Voyage 1976
Jean Luc Ponty ~ Enigmatic Ocean 1977
John Mayall ~ The Turning Point 1969
Texas Tornadoes (Willie Nelson, Mickey Gilley, Johnny Lee) 1982
Elvis Costello ~ This Year's Model 1978
Violent Femmes ~ Hallowed Ground 1984
Siouxsie & the Banshees ~ Kaleidoscope 1980
B52s ~ Bouncing off the Satellites 1986 (guilty pleasure admission here)
Paul Simon ~ The Rhythm of the Saints 1990 (picked up on a whim here, never heard the album)
