Thinking of buying one secondhand, anyone had any experiences with one of these? Are there things to look out for? Am I right in thinking that this is an integrated amplifier? (The ad' says its control but looks integrated and mentions speakers!)
Will this be a decent match for my Rega P2?
Thanks in advance. :music:

It is integrated. What are your speakers? I think this amp will drive most smaller speakers, or really efficient ones. the WPC is around 20-25, similar to the amp i have now, IIRC.

Thank you very much for your reply! :)
Eventually I want the same speakers as you! The B&W 602s, in the meantime it will probably be a pair of Mission 70 Mk2 (70w, 8ohms) - will both these pairs be happy with the Linn?

I would say they would :). Very accurate, very British, the way I like it.

I know this is an old thread, but wanted to add my impressions on this integrated. I picked up an original non-"i" version of this integrated amp last week off the local CL and am listening to it through some KEF Reference 102's. The sound is very smooth and liquid with a sweet midrange and not a hint of harshness or edge. Construction is first rate, too. My only nit-pick is the non-standard speaker terminals that only accept banana plugs. I would have expected good quality 5-way binding posts on an amp that cost $1,200 when new.
