JVC VR-5505L Receiver

Yesterday I picked up this nice looking JVC VR-5505L at a thrift store for 5 euro. It was very dirty and all pots made noise. After opening it up and cleaning it out, and using deoxit on the pot's, it now seems to have settled down and is now playing through some Wharfedale Dovingtons. The sound is not bad at all.

My question however is the following, does anyone know more about this receiver? Year of production and how many watts / channel it has and such?
