Hey Guys,
Does anyone know where I can find an owners manual for my KX-1030? Either hard copy or .pdf is fine. Bought my deck as a demo model years ago and never had one. Sincere thanks if anyone can help.

That's just creepy. I picked a (broken) one up at Goodwill today, just needs new belts, and some cleaning. I found a copy of the user manual online after a bit of digging, just PM me your email address and I would be glad to send it to you.
Nice looking deck, IMO. Bias adjustment, 3 heads, the works!

Is the KX1030 the double Dolby model with the test tone and adj. bias ? Mine is in storage if it is the one I think it is. I have a manual. I'll dig it out this week end and check.

My 1030 has only Dolby B (but that's ok as I often use dbx II for noise reduction) and yes, it does have the test tone & bias adj. Let me know if you get a chance to find the manual. I'm just curious if there were slightly different ones with any subtle revisions produced throughout the years of production of this deck. Thanks very much.

Thanks for that. Will look inside of mine for the second board when I get a moment. Two boards inside?! Now that IS strange. Why would they have done that? What is double Dolby? I never heard of it and what would be the advantage? Is that what Dolby C is? How would you connect it? Curious now.
