I heard a wonderful piece of music a while back on the local classical station that caught my attention. I was really loving it, and eagerly awaited the title. At the end of the pieces, I heard that it was "Feel the Spirit" By John Rutter, and that was only the first 7 tracks. I immediately ordered it from my library, and it just came in a few days ago. I got my mother to take me to get it, and took it home and connected my DVD/CD player, and pressed play.

WOW! This is GREAT. Something that I have never heard before, and it is absolutely wonderful. I love the music (even though I am Jewish), and the performances are wonderful. I have a new favorite CD now.

Haven't heard but will definitely pick it up.

John is the "darling" of English sacred music and has been for the last 15 years or so. He has written a ton of original music and has arranged the music of others for years. His recordings are many and not too badly recorded. He also has an instrumental cd out there which is very enjoyable. My brother is an expert on his work as they are in the same field. We share Rutter works and stories about him!!

I have number of Rutter pieces on CD..I listen to him mostly around the holiday season. I especially find his music moving in live peformance.
