Hell yeah baby!!! that torture contraption that only a USSR KGB mastermind could have devised is off my arm....Although my elbow has the feeling of rigor-mortis ( I feel like King Tut)...but its loosening up by the hour!!
My advice: Dont do any damage to your dominant arm. If you do, have hangers ready for scratching day and nite, nite and day...
Also, dont lift 90 lb amps without bending your knees:thumbsdn:, and put large speaker cabs on rollers.:scratch2:

Wow glad to hear your doing better, Jack. I had an accident with a knife back in march and lost the use of my left hand for 3 weeks.
I can't imagine not being able to use my dominant arm! :yikes:

I had casts on both my arms when I was 13... broke both wrists.
They start to itch like CRAZY after a couple weeks... I found myself pushing a wire hanger under there to scratch my arms. It worked pretty well actually.

Glad you're doing better. I know how agonizing that under the cast scratch can be. Take it easy and a fast recovery.

Good on ya! (or off ya:D) this is none of my business but, if your ins. will cover phyisical therapy. I just finished mine, and even though I felt I was fine before. I was so much better afterwards. We ain't gettin' younger, and if your break was anywhere near a joint, well, folks'll be askin' what the weather is gonna be like tomorrow, know what I'm sayin'?:D

that would have been awesome...but nothing like good ol' misery to make you respect your body.
Stuwee. it wasnt a break, it was the biceps muscle tendon being partially teared off the bone...rehab starts soon!

Been there done that, still have the pain at times if I lift just right. It was totally my fault also, assembling a 40 ton hydraulic press by myself was lifting and holding the ram in place 100+lbs with one arm while trying to put in bolts with the other. I won't do that again now I use a forklift.

Glad the cast if off there... I'd also recommend therapy. I could barely reach my arm behind my back after the cast and therapy slowly loosened it up and now I feel good as new...
